EDF laboratories related to “Grid Concepts, SEGP, Batteries, E-Mobility, Electrolyser-platform”

EDF Lab les Renardières is the largest EDF R&D centre in the world. Since 1964, EDF Lab les Renardières has been devoted to research activities covering all sectors of electricity.

Located in Seine-et-Marne, near Fontainebleau, it has full-scale equipment and high voltage testing facilities, some of which are unique in the world. At EDF Lab les Renardières, researchers, engineers and technical staffs are jointly carrying out experimental research ranging from the study of materials to renewable energies, including the development of efficient and low-carbon electrical applications.

For the EPE conference, this EDF R&D centre is opening its doors to offer you a tour of some of its emblematic laboratories focusing on electric mobility, stationary storage and the electricity grids of today and tomorrow.
